Crochet covered natural wooden baby teething ring / teether (mint green)

SKU: a7c8d9e3f3a0 Category:

Made according to a traditional Scandinavian design in my workshop in Paris, these crochet covered teething rings make wonderful gifts but most importantly they can offer much needed relief to babies from pain of teething without using unnecessary plastics.

The teething rings are made from unfinished natural wood which is then sealed with my own homemade wood butter (a blend of organic olive oil, organic coconut oil and organic beeswax). A crochet covered part provides a softer surface to bite on and when combined with the wooden ring babies are given an introduction to different textures as well as something to chew on.

The organic wood butter that I use to seal the wood acts as an all natural antibacterial cover and the beeswax provides resistance to water and stains. The crochet ring is made from 100% cotton mercerised yarn giving a durable finish and will not lose fibres when chewed. As it becomes wet the crochet ring feels even better on sore gums and gives a great alternative to plastics teething toys.

All of my items are sent gift boxed in 100% recycled card boxes sent from France. I can personalise the box with a childs name if you want just let me know when you check out.

Other colours and designs are also available and you can even download your own PDF instructions to make your own ring like this or to make the organic wood butter that I use.

I can also custom make any colour or design just let me know what you would like.

Available colours for the crochet ring are:
Cherry red
Tangerine orange
Sunrise yellow
Mint green
Emerald green
Deep sea blue
Lovely lilac
Velvet violet
Fuchsia pink

As well as just using the ring as it is you can also cool it in the fridge for extra relief.

Care instructions
The yarn is colourfast, high quality and non toxic and can be washed with warm soapy water.
